Downtown Disney to add Hyperion Pier

WDW_hypewhaf_350ORLANDO — A new waterfront district at Downtown Disney at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida will be reminiscent of an early 20th century port city and amusement pier.

Known as Hyperion Pier, the complex will open in 2013. It will include boutiques and restaurants, expanding the dining availability at Downtown Disney by more than 25 percent and replacing the former Pleasure Island.
